Gites Le Bois is a 200 year old farmhouse & gite set within the rural countryside of Azat Le Ris, Haute Vienne - southern France. 

The local area itself is mostly used for farming, including sheep farming, growing crops and sunflowers fields.

The local area boasts outdoor adventures with local hiking trails and great for cycling. After all of that excitment there is a great little bar in azat le ris.

There are plenty of places of interest including a waterpark and lake area for paddleboarding and other water sports at lac de saint pardoux - 40 mins away.

There is a leisure area at lathus saint remy Approx - 7 km away, as well the local small town of Le Dorat, with shops, bakery , bars and tabac - 8.5 km away.

 

A bit further up the road consists of 'Bellac' a larger town with larger supermarkets, with weekly markets on a saturday mornings - 30 min drive away.
